1960

How It All Started

The year was 1960 and Joseph Bianco, Sr. had perfected his sausage formula and began selling his first batch in his Revere, Massachusetts meat market. It was then Bianco became an established meat and sausage brand the locals would line up for.

1980

The Next Generation

In the 1980’s, Joseph Bianco, Jr. joined the family business alongside his father at the Revere, Massachusetts headquarters. As the demand for Bianco’s quality meat products continued to grow, Bianco & Sons stayed true to their word in only providing premium cuts of meat to their customers across New England.

2000

Expanding the Bianco Market

In the early 2000’s, Bianco & Sons began selling their much-loved sausages and meats to supermarkets throughout Boston, Massachusetts. This was a big step for Bianco, which had previously sold only to wholesale distributors and restaurants.

2016

Continuing the Tradition

Joseph Jr.’s three children, Francesca, Lewis and Joseph III began working by his side to carry on the Bianco legacy. As the third generation of Biancos, they continue to grow the heritage brand all while providing the best products and service for their customers, new and old.

2017

Moving to Medford, MA

In the spring of 2017, Bianco & Sons moved to a newly renovated, 30,000 sq. foot facility in Medford, MA after outgrowing the Revere, MA headquarters they called home for nearly 6 decades. This new facility at 1 Brainard Avenue allowed the space for new production capabilities, new product lines and a new vision for the company. Bianco’s ability to produce retail packaging now made Bianco & Sons a top competitor in the supermarket industry.

2017

The Start of Nationwide Expansion

With the new facility, Bianco & Sons had the capacity to produce more quality sausage and meat products than ever before. In the fall of 2017, Bianco’s began selling its premium products to Cheney Brothers in South Florida and in restaurants in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

2019

A New England Favorite

Bianco & Sons sausages and marinated meats continue to be a New England favorite and can now be found at select Big Y, Hannaford, Market Basket, Stop & Shop and Wegmans locations throughout Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire.
