Grilled Buffalo Wings with Blue Cheese and Ranch Dressing

Why choose between ranch and blue cheese when you can have both? Created in partnership with J Squared Eatz, this easy homemade ranch and blue cheese dressing recipe starts with one creamy, tangy base and turns into two classic chicken wing dipping sauces with minimal extra effort. Made to pair with Bianco & Sons Buffalo-Style Chicken Wings, these crowd-pleasing dips are perfect for game day, tailgates, backyard BBQs, parties, or anytime wings are on the menu.

Prep Time: 10-15 minutes | Cook Time: 8-12 minutes | Total Time: 18-27 minutes
Serves: 2-4

INGREDIENTS

Base Dressing (Makes enough for both ranch and blue cheese)

  • 1/2 Cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 Cup mayo
  • 1/2 Cup sour cream
  • 2 Tsp white vinegar
  • 1 Tsp granulated onion
  • 1 Tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 Tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 Tsp black pepper (fresh cracked)

Ranch Dressing Add-ins

  • 1 Tsp dill (dried or fresh)
  • 4-5 Scallions, chopped

Blue Cheese Add-ins

  • 1/2 Tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 Tsp Hot Sauce (we used garlic Cholula)
  • 1 Tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 Cup blue cheese crumbles (for best results use hand crumbled Danish blue cheese)

Wings

Extra/Garnish

  • Carrot and celery sticks
  • Chopped scallions

METHOD

  1. Make base dressing in a large mixing bowl by adding all ingredients to the bowl, whisk until combined
  2. Separate base dressing equally into two smaller bowls
  3. For ranch; add chopped scallions and dill to one bowl, mix until incorporated. Chill in fridge
  4. For blue cheese; add Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, Dijon mustard and blue cheese crumbles to the second bowl, mix until incorporated. Chill in fridge
  5. Pre-heat your grill to medium high heat, oil grates just before cooking
  6. Remove Bianco & Sons Buffalo Wings from package and add to grill. (Pro tip: add skin side down first to get maximum char)
  7. Cook for about 4-6 mins per side or until the wings reach an internal temp of 165 F
  8. Pull wings off grill and add to serving platter

TO SERVE

  • Sprinkle chopped scallions on wings
  • Add both blue cheese and ranch dressings to ramekins, put on platter with carrot and celery sticks
